The Process
Applying grain filler to the mahogany guitar body.Applying the finish. A two week process involving the application of vinyl sealer, butterscotch yellow paint and clear gloss.Altering the shape of the headstock and adding the custom engraving “Borkcaster”Sanding the frets and covering them in tape to apply a clear gloss finish.Leaving the body and neck to cure, allowing the clear gloss to settle and give a nice smooth finish.Soldering the electronicsFitting and drilling in the hardware.Placing string trees and tuning pegs into the headstock.
