Handmade Gibson style Flying V electric guitar

The Process

3D Modeling using Rhino’s 3D modeling software. Model dimensions based off a Gibson 1958 Korina Flying V.
Two planks of Alder wood glued together, planed and sanded to serve as the body of the guitar.
The guitar body was cut using a CNC plasma cutter.
Hand-fitting and readjusting the neck.
Making adjustments and cuts to the pickguard and laying out the hardware.
Fitting and screwing tuning pegs into the headstock.
Screwing in the pickguard, humbucker pickups and fitting the toggle switch, output jack and the volume and tone knobs.
Installing strap buttons.
Installing the bridge.
